Ya’ll!!!! I know I say this every month but this #pushpointebestie is one of the sweetest, kindest, most genuine individual you will ever meet!
We will all admit that a #grateful heart can make any friend beautiful but this friend has not only one of the most gracious hearts you will ever encounter but one of the brightest, most contagious smiles as well! No matter how my day is going I know that as soon as our next M-O-M walks in the doors of #pushpointe I will end up smiling, you can’t help but feed off her amazing energy!
PushPointe…it is our honor to introduce you to someone who has been supporting us for years, achieved an incredible amount since we’ve known her, and will push you to work harder based on her own work ethic. She is a special one, she is a beautiful one…PushPointe, she is our May Member of the Month…Martha Menchinger!!!!
Other than being a part of the PushPointe family, please tell us a little bit more about yourself.
. I have lived in Tega Cay for the past 11 years and have been married to Steve for 27 years. He is from Michigan and I am from Oregon. We met at a wedding in Washington DC a loooong time ago. I am a high school teacher at the ATC in Rock Hill where I teach Television Production. I have two handsome sons Jason, 21 who lives in Charleston and John, 18 who lives in Columbia.
Why did you join PushPointe?
Two years ago I was 168 Pounds….and one morning my “sweet” husband asked “How big are you going to get?”… ouch I thought (He really is a sweet man!) Even though I was jogging a few days a week the weight was not coming off. I pass by PushPointe everyday and one day came in and talked with wonderful Sarah and since, my life and body has transformed. I was new to cycling classes and started with the wonderful Kelly Ussery as my instructor.
What is your favorite class at PushPointe?
Total Strength & Core with Rachael, FBC Bootcamp with Ronnie, Super Sunday Cycle Up with Leonard…. can I just say them all!?
What results, accomplishments, or goals (either physically, mentally or emotionally) have you accomplished since joining PushPointe?
The weight has come off and stayed off. My body dimensions have changed. But the biggest accomplishment as an “Older” woman is to know I can make new life changes. I remember telling Sarah I wasn’t a morning person and just didn’t think a 5am class would work. She said I could do it and “it is the best way to start your day”. I started attending a few times in the morning and gained so much from the Push from Sarah that I could do it!
What would you say to anyone considering joining PushPointe?
Everyone is busy and has commitments each day. PushPointe makes the excuses you have non-existence because of the times classes are available and the variety of classes. I love the feeling from each class, the “no Judgment zone” and really believing that each class is what you make it! Don’t waste another day without exercising.
