Fully recovering between workouts is essential to optimizing your health and fitness. It’s perhaps one of the most neglected of the 5 components of fitness. In this video Leonard shares the key steps you can use to recover faster between workouts = more progress.
#1. Replace lost fluid. Water supports every bodily function and the electrolytes lost during heavy sweating. \
#2. Eat healthy recovery foods. Think about refuel and repair. Protein and complex carbs within an hour of working out.
#3. Rest. Get off your feet and get adequate sleep.
#4. Stretch. Gentle stretching between workouts helps facilitate recovery
#5. Slow down…when you body tells you. You don’t need to go all out every workout.
